The Dogwood Rottweiler Club of Metropolitan Atlanta, Inc.
will sponsor daily Introductions to Stock from 10:00 am to
6:00 pm, with a one hour lunch break from1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
for people interested in getting involved in AKC herding competition
conducted by noted AKC judges Jon & Carol Anne Bailey
Tholkes.
The Herding Introduction to Stock is designed to evaluate
a dog's herding potential & is a hands on experience with
you & your dog on sheep.No prior herding experience is
necessary in order to participate and is open to dogs of all
breeds (NOT limited to AKC Herding Breeds). Dogs showing potential
will receive a certificate. Fee $20.00 per dog.
Handlers may enter more than one dog and every effort will
be made to ensure that any one handler’s dogs will not
go in the ring consecutively (unless specifically requested).
