Barn Hunt Conflicts

Barn Hunt Conflict Policy

We would like to accommodate each and every conflict but that will more than likely be impossible and you may have to
make a choice. The running order for classes will be posted at each ring, each day. If you have a conflict, please ask the blind
steward to put a "C" by your name. If you are not in at the ring when your blind is called, we will fill your space with
someone that is present. When you are available to run, please check in and we will assign you to a new blind. We cannot
guarantee you will run immediately upon checking in.
If you know you will have a conflict prior to the event, please contact the Trial Secretary to declare the conflict so she can
work with you to try to resolve it.
We cannot hold a class. If you are not present by the time the class ends, you will not be able to run your dog in that class for
that trial. There are two trials each day but amissed run in trial one cannot be run in trial two.
We will verify all conflicts with the judging program of other events.

Lure Coursing Conflicts

Lure Coursing Conflict Policy

We use the following procedure at the Perry CATs.: As the Pre-Entries come in the Trial Secretary will enter them on a Running Order list (if people have more than 1 dog they will be separated by a few dogs). At Roll Call (after we check your dog) we will make a mark beside your name that indicates you are good to go. Day of Trial entries go at the end of the already established Running Order. If someone has a conflict then they get moved to the end - just like in Obedience and Rally. We will still do the Rolling Roll call BUT if you have been Roll Called and are NOT ready to go when your name comes up, we will move you to the end of PRE-ENTERED DOGS. Once we are finished running pre-entered dogs we will start on the “Day of Trial” Entries. If the field is empty and no one is waiting you might be able to run early

We will NOT work people back into the order (much too confusing!) unless there is no one waiting. Come and look at the board - multiply each name by 2 minutes and that should give you an APPROXIMATE time that you will run.

CAT TESTS ROLL CALL - (Roll call is the time when participants are expected to check-in by – check-in is followed by inspection for fitness, lameness or “in season” females)

FOR THESE EVENTS WE WILL BE HOLDING A “ROLLING ROLL CALL” – BASICALLY WHEN YOU ARE READY TO RUN YOU COME AND WE WILL CHECK YOUR DOG AND PUT YOU ON THE ORDER OF GO LIST. WE WILL TRY OUR BEST TO WORK AROUND THE OTHER ACTIVITES YOU MAY BE ENTERED IN THIS WEEKEND. PLEASE NOTE – SOMETIMES THE ORDER OF GO IS ALREADY AN HOUR WAIT TIME BY MID MORNING!!!! (See the information regarding RUNNING ORDER PROCESS!!!!!!!)

Rolling Roll Call begins at 7:30 each day for the MORNING events and 1:00 each day for the AFTERNOON events. *SUNDAY – LAST DOG ON COURSE AT 1:00

Agility Conflicts

Agility Conflict Policy

It is the exhibitors’ responsibility to be at the ring with their dog when it is their turn to run.  We would like to accommodate each and every conflict but that will more than likely be impossible and you may have to make a choice.  We believe the following will resolve the majority of legitimate conflicts.

Conflicts within a jump height will be resolved by the Gate Steward. Handlers with multiple dogs in a jump height may have the first dog moved forward or the last moved later. The order of the dogs in question may not be changed.

Otherwise, exhibitors with conflicts in the first two classes each day will run first regardless of jump height. Conflicts in other than the first class in each ring, in most cases, will be accommodated by running first in your class. Only in the direst of circumstances may a handler in any of the Excellent/Master Classes be allowed to run after their jump height has been completed and must be approved in advance by a member of the Trial Committee.

Requests for changes in assigned running order are granted at the discretion of the trial committee and only when that change does not disrupt the smooth flow of the trial. You must declare your conflict the day prior, i.e., Friday for a Saturday conflict.  If you have a conflict for Thursday, check in with us Wednesday afternoon when you arrive or notify us via e-mail no later than 5:00 PM, Tuesday, April 11, 2017.  You will fill out a brief “conflict” form. This will insure that we will be able to pull your scribe sheet and have it ready at the designated time for your run. Exhibitors who are not at the line at their assigned time to run and have not declared a conflict and had it approved will be marked absent.

If you declare a conflict, and are assigned a new running time or order, that will be the time you are required to run. If you are not present at that time you will be marked absent and will not be permitted to run at any other time.

Conflict forms are available on the club websites at www.atlantakennelclub.org and www.chattahoocheeweim.org.

See a Trial Committee Member at the Trial Chairperson table to register your conflict. Do not ask at the Scorekeeping Table.
